This morning my Dad got us all up at 7am to go skiing.

^ my Dad, he is ski crazy. If he isn't on the mountain by 9am, he pouts. Luckily, we made it today. 

^ for my Uncle Peter 

^ it's so hard to go back out after lunch, when I'm all warm and full of sandwiches (that my Dad pre-makes the night before). But the afternoon was great, so it was worth it.

^a nice mountain host took this. As opposed to the not-nice mountain hosts who just yell at my Mom when people hit you coming off the lift and make you fall over... and they say "ma'am, you can't sit there". Well, really? haha

About 6 weeks ago, I bought blazer tickets + a night at a hotel at a charity auction. The game was tonight & my friend Lauren and I went. I am not a basketball fan.... or a blazer fan (too many bad memories of the Jail Blazers from when I was in High School. Lauren is getting her PhD in History, and actually wrote a paper about the Blazers with the same title, so I know it's not just me that remembers their reign of pot smoking terror.)

I was actually pretty bored (as we lost to Milwaukee) that I bought an over priced ice cream to occupy my time. But Lauren IS a fan of basketball, so she actually knew why was going on. (I have to say, our seats were really close.... and the players are so tall. Honestly, how hard can it be to play when you can legit touch the hoop?! It seems ridiculous to be impressed. Nothing Lauren says about dribbling or defense makes me believe differently.)

^ It was mascot night.

I started this blog a year ago, with this post (about how I was going to blog while I was in Europe). I did blog in Europe, but kept blogging when I got home, too.  :)

When my friend Lauren asked me if I wanted to go with her to lady gaga, I obviously said yes!! I am not a huge fan, but I figured it would be awesome anyways. And I was right. We also went to my friends bar/coffee shop before- I hadn't seen him in forever, so that was nice, too. But back to lady gaga.

I have more respect for her then I ever had before. I didn't realize she was such a good singer! She was amazing. And she ha a castle on stage...it was just insane.
