June 15th 2013

To celebrate graduation, Zina had a big pool party in the backyard, with mexican food catered in. My cousins and I spent pretty much our entire childhoods in the pool in the summer, so it was pretty fitting. The weather was perfect and it was SO MUCH FUN. 

 I am determined to learn how to do a front flip this summer. I somehow missed this lesson when I was a kid, & I feel cheated. I managed to do it twice, but with no consistency!  That's okay, I have two more months! 

We all had such a good day. I  love my family.

Unfortunately, these are the last members of our immediate family to graduate from college, I only say unfortunately because now we have to find another reason to have parties. I am sure we will think of something :)

June 14th 2013- graduation

My aunt and cousin graduated with their bachelors in business management which OBVIOUSLY meant we were all going to cheer them on, celebrate & have a party. First, we went to graduation on Friday night. 

Graduations are not my favorite thing, but I think it's awesome to celebrate such a huge accomplishment, so my (other) cousin and I suffered thru-

She has the best "unimpressed' face. And we were all pretty unimpressed by the speeches. Everyone told their own uninteresting life story, or "inspiring" student story. And no, they did not talk about the mother/daughter duo who were graduating together!  

YAY! Only about 20 people graduated with BA's, the rest of this group were AA's, an awesome accomplishment, too :)

I am SO proud of my family- and so glad that I am from a family who always valued education so much!
